• Opposition leader and former President Mohammad Khatami's car has been attacked by plainclothes agents.
  • Authorities in Iran arrest Khatami’s brother, Mohammad-Reza Khatami, as well as his wife, Zahra Eshraghi, who is also a granddaughter of Grand Ayatollah Khomeini, the leader of Iran’s 1979 Revolution.  
  • The Law Enforcement Forces say the arrests were not politically motivated but were necessary for their protection.

• Mir-Hossein Mousavi's wife, Zahra Rahnavard, is said to have severely been beaten by plainclothes agents at Revolution Day rallies in Tehran.
